The immediate past Chairman, Engr. Dr. T.E. Odetoye, FNSE, is the first-ever female Chairman to be elected by the Branch. She is an Associate Professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Ilorin.

The current chairman, Engr Taiwo Olashehu, FNSE, is the current Head of Department and Director of works of Kwara State Teaching Service Commission.
