BRANCH’S ACHIEVEMENTS
- NSE Ilorin branch hosted the NSE National Conference/ AGM in 2012, tagged Harmony 2012.
- The Branch has produced Vice president of NSE at the National level and EXCO member for over 6 years.
- The Branch just secured a National EXCO Member position for its candidate at the just concluded NSE Abuja 2020 AGM.
- The Branch has various members at different board and committees at the National level.
- The Branch Secretariat is located at No1 Engineering Close, Tanke Ilorin. There is an Administrative building which was donated by Lubcon Nigeria Limited, and a Mutipurpose Auditorium that is being built through donations by Fellows/Members of the Branch, situated in the same premises.
HOW DO I JOIN THE BRANCH?
- Members are for those who possess qualifications that are acceptable by COREN. There are seven grades of membership, namely; Fellow, Corporate Member, Associate, Graduate, Student, Corporate firms and Honorary Fellow.
HOW FREQUENT IS THE BRANCH MEETING?
- The Branch General meeting is held on the last Thursday of every month
- The Branch Executive meeting is held once every month; usually the week that precedes the general meeting.
- The Annual General meeting is held once a year; usually the last meeting for the EXCO Calendar.
- Emergency meeting holds at the discretion of the Chairman, usually when there is a need for such meetings.
- The Committees meetings will hold at the instance of the Committees Chairman and the Secretary.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING A MEMBER OF THE BRANCH?
- Protection of rights and interest of members
- Promote friendly interaction and mutual understanding among members, thereby bridging the gaps between captain of industries, elders and young professionals.

MUST I BE FROM ILORIN OR RESIDENT IN ILORIN TO BE A MEMBER OF THE BRANCH?
- Every Engineer who resides, practices and/or has his office within the state shall also be eligible to be a member of the branch provided such Engineer does not belong to any other branch.
